NEEED OF PHILADELPHIA RECEIVES CITATION FROM CITY COUNCIL
Philadelphia, PA – January 5th, 2013 - Networking for Equal Education
and Economic Development (N.E.E.E.D) of Philadelphia was honored with
a citation form Philadelphia City Council during their 20th Anniversary celebration. The citation was presented by Councilman Kenyatta Johnson of the 2nd Council, who was being honored by N.E.E.E.D as a former scholarship recipient who has excelled in politics.
NEEED was cited for providing financial assistance to students seeking higher education over twenty years, in addition to promoting volunteerism within schools and communities.N.E.E.E.D of Philadelphia was co-founded twenty years ago by Retired State Representative Harold James of the 186th Legislative District andEugene “Macky” Guy and is a 501(C)3 non-profit run by dedicated, concerned citizens of Philadelphia on a mission to elevate the youth of our communities to prosper in life and be productive citizens.
